Maya Newby

For Maya, Calisthenics is all about joy, connection, and the freedom she feels when performing on stage. She loves the energy of cheering on her teammates, working hard, and being surrounded by a sport full of positivity and support. Her proudest achievements include placing 3rd in her Division 5 Inters Graceful and being selected for the ACTC Youth Performance Group. Maya is excited to perform in Mother Nature - not just for the thrill of the stage, but for the chance to be part of a team that lifts each other up and works together to create something truly powerful.

Outside of Calisthenics, Maya enjoys playing piano, crafting, crocheting, reading, writing, and improving her acro skills. She hopes to one day become a dancer in the performing arts industry.
