Mercedes Smethurst

Mercedes thrives on the challenge of Calisthenics, from learning new tricks to forming lifelong friendships along the way. Her proudest accomplishments include winning the 2022 CASA Division 2 Graceful title, competing as a Sub-Junior and Junior in the Darwin team, being selected for the Starlet Program twice, and competing as an Inter as a second-year Junior. Mercedes is incredibly excited to be part of a theatre company like ACTC that celebrates Calisthenics, and she hopes this opportunity will lead to even more performance experiences in the future.

Beyond Cali, Mercedes enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking her dog, horse riding, and enjoying water sports. She dreams of becoming a speech therapist one day.
